Association for Wellfare of the Handicapped

The Association for Welfare of the Handicapped has taken up the formidable task of providing free education, shelter, food, clothing, books, teaching aids etc to a very large` number of children with disabilities, such as hearing impaired, visually impaired, mentally retarded, loco-motor handicapped,
cerebral palsied, leprosy affected, children with autism, multiple disabilities etc.

We have also undertaken to give specific medical attention, medicines etc. required for the handicapped children.

The number of handicapped persons who are now under our care are: -

	Mentally Handicapped	1700
	Physically Handicapped	1420
	Deaf Blind	47
	Total	6177

Our patrons and well- wishers are aware that this effort requires huge financial resources.

Any support from you is welcome and please bear in mind that any help and assistance you extend shall be for a divine cause and you will be rewarded by the Almighty.

Your financial assistance may be sent by cheque or demand draft in favour of “ASSOCIATION FOR WELFARE OF THE HANDICAPPED” payable at Calicut, Kerala .

How To Help :


1.		Sponsor the expenses for surgery of a physically handicapped person.

2.		Sponsor the expenses for aids and appliances of a disabled person.

3.		Sponsor the expenses of preschool education.

4.		Sponsor the expenses of special education.
5.		Sponsor the expenses of vocational training.

6.		Meet the hostel expenses of a disabled student.
7.		To meet expenses on infrastructural development of school and college for the disabled.
8.		To meet expenses on maintenance of street children/runaway children
9.		To meet medical expenses of the aged.
